Understand all country and format checks as pre-validation.

A validator checks a file against technical rules for a defined format and version. It does not automatically determine whether the transaction, deduction right or tax treatment is correct.

Technical scope

Checks may include schema, mandatory fields, data types, code lists, totals and selected business rules. The result applies only to the stated format and rule set.

Professional limits

A valid file may still contain the wrong party, date, tax rate or service description. These items require comparison with the source and business context.

Recommended sequence

Identify format and version, resolve technical errors, perform professional review and use the validator required by the recipient or authority before official submission.
