Documents & upload

Common upload errors

Typical reasons for failed uploads and how to check them.

Updated: 2026-06-10errorsstorageformat

A failed upload usually means that the file, security validation or storage service prevented processing. Re-uploading the same broken file repeatedly does not remove the cause.

File rejected immediately

Check size, extension, actual MIME type and whether the PDF or XML opens correctly. Do not merely rename another file type; export the invoice again from the source system.

Upload starts but processing stops

Review document status and error message. A fresh export with better quality may resolve OCR, parser or storage issues; for repeated failures provide support with the document ID, not confidential content by email.

Duplicates and temporary files

Dynafis may recognise identical content as a duplicate. Remove unnecessary copies and remember that anonymous checks are deleted automatically after the stated retention period.
